Engagement, Pre-Marital Coaching for Brides and Couples

The engagement period is an amazing time for your love and the growth of your commitment to one another. It can be a time of amazing joy. But it is also a very stressful time. Society leads us to believe that we are supposed to walk around in a state of contentment and bliss all though the days leading up to our wedding. The reality is often something different. It is just as normal for individuals to feel stressed, afraid, confused and sad, than wonder what is wrong with them. If this is happening to you, you are probably wondering why you are struggling emotionally at the happiest time of your life. And beyond that confused about why your relationship feels so strained exactly when you have made a commitment to share the rest of your lives together.

The answer is that marriage is a major life change and by their very nature major life changes are stressful. There are new expectations and changing roles. You are also individually and as a couple probably spending large amounts of money. In addition you have taken on the task of wedding planning; which often can essentially amount to another full time job. Your relationships with the other people in your lives are changing. You now have a whole new family to deal with. You have less time for your friends. I could go on, but the point is, the engagement period is wonderful, but also difficult.

Working with an engagement coach can help you work through and resolve the difficult emotions involved. It can help you grow and stay closer as a couple so that you can focus on what is truly of importance; the love and the joy.

Because of my deep commitment to love and helping people hold on to the beautiful relationship they have found, I have made my engagement coaching easy to use, effective, fun and highly affordable. I work with brides or couples. Sometimes these are couples who are local to me and I also perform their wedding ceremonies. But I also work with couples across the nation. On occasion we work together in person, or via E-mail, but most often we work together by phone.

As a Wedding Officiant and Relationship Coach I have many years of experience in working with couples. I am an Interfaith Ordained Ministerial Counselor and Relationship Coach trained through the Relationship Coaching Institute. I am also the former owner of Dining With Singles; a singles dinner and event club. I have assisted many individuals in finding, building and holding on to a love that is conscious, deep, true, passionate and fun!
